Well, well, well, look who we have here! It’s me, Robin, Managing Director for Vaimo, Nordics. You might think that means I sit around sipping coffee and eating kanelbullar all day, but let me tell you, managing a market unit ain’t no picnic.

As the person ultimately in charge for Vaimo in the Nordics, I’ve got my hands full executing the market strategy, contributing to the growth and direction of Vaimo’s products and services, and recruiting top-notch employees to keep up with demand. It’s a good thing I’ve got a very skilled team around me, otherwise I’d be like a fish out of water.

Speaking of fishing, I’m no good at it. But! I’ve found my forte in the e-commerce industry. It’s come a long way from just being a place to buy stuff online. Nowadays, it’s all about humanizing the shopping experience, improving customer experience and making sure our visitors feel like they’re more than just faceless traffic. That way, we can build websites that really engage and motivate people to stick around and become loyal ambassadors for our clients.

I’ve spent most of my professional life at Vaimo. Since joining, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some amazing companies. Just namedrop a few: Lantmännen, Epiroc, Elon, Dyson, Agent Provocateur, GANT. I may not be able to beat you in padel or outsmart you in a music quiz, but when it comes to managing e-commerce operations, I’m the superhero you want on your side.

My Expertise

Strong business development skills that enable me to identify and pursue new business opportunities. This includes networking, building relationships with potential clients, and developing strategies to generate leads and close deals. For our clients I can be leaned upon as a strategic advisor and thought-leader.

The ability to set clear objectives and develop a roadmap to achieve them, something that is critical in my role. This involves analyzing market trends and identifying growth opportunities, as well as creating and executing plans that align with the company’s vision and goals.

I need to be effective as a leader, I need to be capable of inspiring and motivate my employees to achieve their best. This involves setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and creating a positive work environment that fosters collaboration and creativity.

In-depth knowledge of the industry we operate in, including trends, challenges, and opportunities. This allows me to make informed decisions and stay ahead of the competition.
